The fourth edition of BlissGiving in Pink, the annual charity event created by Blisspire in Brașov, took place on 27 August 2026 at Dream Hill Boutique Hotel in Sânpetru, Brașov County. This year’s campaign supported Asociația Îngrijire Acasă (Home Care Association) and its “Bătrânețe cu Demnitate” (“Aging with Dignity”) project, which aims to create a social store for vulnerable older people in Brașov.
The campaign raised 53,145 RON net, approximately €10,220, for the cause. In addition, partnerships generated materials and professional services, including resources for the future social store.
More than 150 people attended the event, but BlissGiving in Pink 2026 was much more than one evening. It was the result of an almost four-month campaign that brought together companies, entrepreneurs, artists, ambassadors, volunteers, professionals and members of the Blisspire community.
BlissGiving in Pink 2026 did not begin on 27 August.
The first stages of the project started in May, with the selection of the cause and the development of the concept. This was followed by budgeting and fundraising, identifying sponsors and partners, attracting donations and pro bono contributions, involving artists, ambassadors and volunteers, and promoting the campaign.
Behind the campaign were hundreds of conversations with individuals and companies, meetings, emails, media appearances, social media communication, ticket sales, the preparation of the charity raffle and auction, and all the logistics required to bring the event to life.
On 27 August, all these threads came together at the fourth edition of BlissGiving in Pink.
The concept of the 2026 edition was Picnic in Pink, a reinterpretation of the original idea of a picnic as a community table where everyone contributes, shares and enjoys the experience together.
We imagined a summer evening outdoors, on the grass, with music, picnic blankets, baskets and sunset.
The weather, however, had other plans.
Heavy rain forced us to move much of the event indoors and adapt, almost at the last minute, what we had been preparing for months.
We kept the essence of the concept alive through the Community Table, a place where guests shared food, stories, conversations and the joy of being together.
Despite the weather, more than 150 people attended BlissGiving in Pink 2026, turning a rainy day into a warm, vibrant evening filled with generosity.
The fourth edition of BlissGiving in Pink was dedicated to “Bătrânețe cu Demnitate” (“Aging with Dignity”), a project developed by Asociația Îngrijire Acasă in Brașov.
Through the entire campaign and community mobilisation, we raised 53,145 RON net, equivalent to approximately €10,220, to support the cause.
In a challenging economic year for individuals and companies alike, when resources have had to be considered more carefully, we are deeply grateful for every contribution and very pleased with the result.
Every sponsorship, donation, ticket purchased, prize donated, pro bono service and gesture of support contributed to the final result.
But the impact of BlissGiving in Pink 2026 goes beyond the funds raised.
One of the objectives of the “Aging with Dignity” project is to create a social store for vulnerable older people in Brașov.
Through the partnerships developed around BlissGiving in Pink, we also attracted materials needed to fit out the future space, including floor and wall tiles, sanitary ware, parquet flooring and particle board, as well as the interior design project.
The current estimated commercial value of these contributions is approximately €10,000. The final value will be determined as the project is implemented.
Additional products and services have also been offered to Asociația Îngrijire Acasă and its beneficiaries, including mobility and support equipment, medical consultations and professional expertise provided pro bono.
For us, this is one of the most important outcomes of BlissGiving: not only the money we are able to raise, but the entire network of people, resources and expertise that can be mobilised around a meaningful cause.
One of the most moving elements of the 2026 edition was the photographic exhibition “La final, toți suntem o poveste” (“In the End, We Are All a Story”), created together with photographers Raluca Arhire and Alexandra Ghia.
The project began with a simple thought: as people grow older, they can sometimes become almost invisible to society.
We wanted to look at them differently.
Not through vulnerability, age or need, but through the stories they carry, their beauty, dignity and identity.
The portraits presented at BlissGiving in Pink became more than photographs. They were an invitation to stop and truly see the people in front of us.
Because, regardless of age, in the end, we are all a story.
Every year, BlissGiving in Pink is designed as an experience where fundraising meets music, beauty, human connection and the joy of being together.
The atmosphere of the 2026 edition was enriched by performances from Paula Duca, Lina, Barti & Nick Nistor and DJ Vali Crețu.
The programme included live music, social time around the Community Table, the photography exhibition, a raffle with numerous prizes and a charity auction featuring special experiences and products donated by event partners.
An important role was also played by the Angels in Pink, the BlissGiving in Pink ambassadors who carried the campaign message into their own communities, mobilised people and helped increase awareness of the “Aging with Dignity” project.
Together with the volunteers, sponsors, partners, artists and participants, they transformed the campaign into a true collective effort.
BlissGiving in Pink is the annual charity initiative created by Blisspire in Brașov in 2023. Each year, it brings together the local community, businesses, entrepreneurs, artists, professionals and volunteers to support a social cause.
The project began with a simple question:
“If we can bring people together around beauty, why not turn that beauty into good?”
Four editions later, this remains the essence of BlissGiving.
Our goal is not simply to organise a charity event and announce a fundraising total at the end.
We aim to give visibility to causes that deserve to be known, build bridges between NGOs and the business community, mobilise people and turn resources that already exist around us into tangible support.
A company can provide sponsorship or materials. A professional can contribute expertise pro bono. An artist can perform for a cause. An entrepreneur can donate a prize. An ambassador can carry the story further. A volunteer can give a few hours of their time. A participant can buy a ticket, make a donation or bring another person closer to the cause.
We believe that the willingness to do good already exists in people.
Our role is to set it in motion, bring people together around it and give it a concrete form.
The end of the BlissGiving in Pink 2026 campaign does not mean the end of the project.
The next stage is to transform the funds, materials and resources generated through the campaign into a real space serving vulnerable older people.
The interior design work for the future social store has already begun. The next steps include renovation, furniture production and the other stages required to open the space.
Blisspire will remain close to Asociația Îngrijire Acasă, and we will return to this story when the doors of the social store open.
We hope that when the project is complete, its overall impact will be even greater than what we can quantify today.
A project like this cannot be built by one person or one organisation alone.
